So here comes a hurricane

I doubt that there will be any perks

Turning my backyard messy and full of mud
Hopefully there will be no damage and all will be well

or...I'm gonna pull a Joe Horn on you.

You know you have made it to the big time when your name can be used as a verb (like Google). Joe Horn, if you don't know is the guy from Pasadena that shot two burglars in the back for robbing his neighbor's house. He called 911 to report the burglary, but decided on his own to confront the the two men, even at the insistence of the 911 operator telling him not to go confront them.

Well, there have been debates about this. Mr. Horn was cleared by a grand jury of the shooting. What is the law? I don't know. I thought that we were not a society full of vigilantes. What is the point of having laws...hell, even justice if we have a society of vigilantes?

Now, I'm not siding with the burglars (who were shot in the back by the way). They did wrong. Do they deserve to be punished...yes, to the full extent of the LAW....not to the full extent of a vigilante's decision of being judge, jury, and executioner.

If you ever decide to visit Pasadena...or Texas by that matter, be sure not to lock your keys in the car. If you try to jimmy the lock to get your keys...you could get Joe Horn'd.

Gosh, October 2007...last time I posted something in here. What has happened since then? Plenty I'm sure. I don't remember what though....

What's going on now? Hurt my foot running into the fence playing softball (almost made the catch). Mia turned 4 recently. I have a vacation coming up. Got a Nintendo Wii.

Everything is OK.

Man, where the hell have I been? It's only been 5 months since I last posted anything on here.

Well, nothing new going on. Same old stuff I guess.

I'm leaving for London on Saturday and will return in a week. I'm flying into London so I'll try to get in as much of London as I can. It should be fun...hopefully I don't get too lost...
