Midnight Madness

OK, so I went to see Star Wars Episode III last night (this morning) at midnight. Well, not exactly midnight. The ticket stated that it was a 12:05 AM movie. After all of the commercials and trailers, the movie started at 12:30. There were some decent trailers. Batman Begins, Fantastic Four, War of the Worlds. Some crappy trailers. Stealth. And some intriguing ones. I don't recall the name of the movie, but it's a Disney movie where some kids are transported to some magical realm. Looked a lot like Lord of the Rings.

Well, the movie itself...WOW! It was pretty exciting. It was a quick 2.5 hours. If 2.5 hours at work would go by that quickly. Again, wow! It was that good. Some of it was hard to understand (e.g. Darth Sidious communicating through the hologram). The soundtrack was nice and loud. Action scenes were intense. Dialogue was OK, other than the sappy love stuff and Anakin still being a little whiney beyotch.

But none-the-less, it was good.

Comments:
Oooohh...The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe!?!? Gosh, I remember reading that in elementary school! :p

Of course, I knew you'd be at the very first showing...did you dress up? How long did you stand in line?
